More rumours and scandal for American Apparel. For the love of all that is holy!

Bad news for American Apparel (seriously, have I ever started a blog post with, good news! American Apparel!) in that four more women have come forward with new accusations of abuse.

The current lawsuit being brought by is being publicly dragged through the courts at the moment, as AA have their employees sign a contract to say that they wont talk about what happened while they worked for the company - right. Having worked in retail for eight years, I can safetly say I have NEVER signed one of these. I wouldn't if I suspected the company was a bit rape-y.

While two of the accusations are not being made public. One of the girls involved stated that she worked for AA for a while before leaving to become a model. When she began modelling, Charney called her to his apartment to talk about modelling for the company. She arrived and Charney proceeded to try have sex with her after opening the door in a towel. He also tried to take photographs.

Charney's brilliant response? - It's an attempt to 'shakedown American Apparel.' Right, because signing confidentiality agreements outside of a bank/government job is totally normal....

There have been other cases before. The problem is that the confidentiality agreement allows Charney a get out of jail free card. All of the cases have not made it through the courts. If by some fluke chance these allegations are not true, a slight chance - then prehaps it is time to remove a man who has clearly allowed these repeatedly accusations and tainted the image of the company. Not to mention is currently running a company due for a massive re-vamp.

In other bad news, the company is about to try wholesaling to see it makes a difference to the desperate sale figures! I doubt it!

In MORE bad news, the company has also lost 3,500 of their 5,600 employees on the production line which prompted a massive investigation into the lack of documentation provided by their employees and the lack of checks.
