I love these images! Bright, Vibrant and playful with the right amount of silliness injected into it! I look at these images and think, wow - British Vogue used to be waaaay cooler!
I've spoken before about how unimpressed I am with British Vogue at the moment. I think the last issue (September) is more impressive then some of their issues from earlier in the year - Decembers issue was shockingly bad. I wish they would go back to producing photoshoots like this!

It was also reported that American Vogue are the only womens fashion magazine to be on the up for the last quarter. Figures released showing the advertising sales and circulation figures reveal that Vogue is +9% and the only magazine not to have dropped sales. It also said that the Lady Gaga cover (which was March I think) was their most popular cover of the year so far! I am going to go out on a limb and say that the Sarah Jessica Parker age issue (August/September) was their worst - so many complaints across the blogsphere about Parker being on the cover. Oh and about the content of her interview in which the cover statement was : 'I don't know how I do it' - I do - You hire a shedload of nannies and workers to do most of your tasks for you! In fact one model opened fire on her blog stating that it's unfair to models that people like Parker (the celeb) are now getting covers because it takes away from the good work of her people. (the models)
She also went as far as to comment on Parker's style claiming that it is unfair to call her a style icon when it was Patricia Field who styled her and a massive amount of wardrobe people who did the rest. I agree with this one! I've complained about the same thing. You can spot the celebrities who dress themselves and which ones hire stylists. You can't compare the two. Personal style and stylists are two very seperate looks.
