Totally inspired by 90s Kate Moss this afternoon! I love looking at pictures of her from that era. It was a different world!
It just seems so different compared to modelling today. The supers ruled and models seemed to have a much stronger personality then the faceless girls we have today. I mean, I loose track of whose who up there! You only know the big names (Jordan Dunn) the royalty (Campbell), the bad girls (those who make headlines and not just haute couture) and those who are quirky (aggie anyone?)
Not all the collections she modelled in were labelled but I know the above one is Karl Lagerfeld in about 1994.
Famous shot! I love the way she just doesn't give a fuck about the fag in her hand. If that was me, I would have fallen down the stairs in those shoes, flashed my pants in that short skirt and burnt the fake fur on the coat with the ciggie - but that's just me!
Inspiration! I'll keep drumming up some photos and keep the inspiration 'mood posts' going! They seem to be my most read posts! Oddly enough, I've done two posts on men-spiration - the men who inspire my own fashion and both are two of my most read blog posts! Weeeeeird!
