THE DREADFUL DIARIES : Summer break has begun with an excellent start!

I'm so excited! I feel like my summer has just started and while it started on a shaky note - with waving the boy goodbye for three months - it has totally picked up!
It started last night for me when I was handed two tickets to Mumford and Sons in Galway! I was sitting on a bench in Salthill when two strangers literally handed me two tickets to the show! Two of their friends couldn't make it and they had two spares. I was delighted. I had wanted to go and couldn't justify spending the ticket money so close to my holiday! So to get to go for nothing was wonderful.
I finished off the concert by sitting on the pier with a friend drinking and watching the sunset. It was such a beautiful day and it was great to see everyone having so much fun - even skinny dipping at one point! It actually felt like I was abroad and not in Ireland.
So today while feeling the effects of the aforementioned beers on piers - I had a lot of packing and panicking to do. I am off to London tonight and I'm so worried. I hate travelling alone as I get worried I will leave something behind or I will go to the wrong place. I'm going to be in London for a week and I am so excited. I get to see my friend who I havent seen in months and I cant tell you how much I need this break.
I work two jobs which is a bit stressful and I feel like I never get  a break. I've had to slow down on blogging lately so I can have a bit of rest after work if I need one. Still, the work keeps coming and I am happy to report that this week we are going to see the blog hit HALF A MILLION PEOPLE! That is insane. It's literally insane. So I think I am going to celebrate with a party when I get back to town at the end of the month. I am travelling for a while until the first of July and then I settle back into work for a month then I am thinking of flying to Paris for a weekend with E. I can't wait.
If last summer was all about the festivals and home grown fun then this summer is going to be about travel.....all I can say is - BRING IT ON!
